Adult Autism, ADHD & AuDHD Evaluation and Psychiatric Care
Neurotype-informed psychiatric care offering neurodevelopmental assessment, diagnostic clarity, medication management, and practical tools for self-understanding and next steps.
Inner Awareness Psychiatry offers adult autism, ADHD, and AuDHD evaluations and psychiatric care through an evidence-based, lived-experience, and neurodiversity-affirming lens.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — and as someone who is autistic and has ADHD — I approach assessment and care as more than a checklist. My work focuses on understanding the patterns underneath your experiences: how your neurotype may shape your strengths, challenges, relationships, work, sensory needs, executive functioning, and day-to-day life.
Evaluation is structured and diagnostic, but also collaborative and contextual. We look at your developmental history, current functioning, internal experience, masking, and the ways your traits may have been misunderstood or misattributed over time.
The goal is diagnostic clarity, but also practical understanding — a clearer map of how you function and what kinds of support, treatment, and next steps may actually fit. Patients may begin with a diagnostic evaluation or, when appropriate, an initial psychiatric intake for neurotype-informed continuing care.
